Saint Petersburg, June 21 /Sin Hua/ — The total sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in the first five months of the current year in Russia amounted to 482.8 thousand units, which is 6 percent more year-on-year. According to the data, in May 2026, the volume of sales of new passenger and light commercial vehicles reached 110.6 thousand units, which is 18 percent higher than the figure for May of the previous year.
