Addis Ababa, June 21 /Sina ua/ — The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia on Sunday declared the ruling Prosperity Party the winner of the seventh general elections, paving the way for the formation of a new government.

Announcing the official results in Addis Ababa, the agency reported that according to the overall election results held on June 1, the Prosperity Party received 438 of the deputy mandates put to vote in the Council of People’s Representatives / lower house of the parliament / of Ethiopia. –0–
