London, June 19 /Xin Hua/ — British transport police reported on Friday evening that their officers are responding to reports of a collision between two trains in the Bedford area in eastern England.
“We will share additional information as soon as it becomes possible,” the department’s message on the social network X states.
As reported by British media, the incident led to serious injuries among passengers and caused major disruptions in rail services between London’s St Pancras station and the city of Leicester.
