Order dated June 10, 2026 No. 1435-r
Additional land plots and water area section will be included within the boundaries of the Korsakov seaport, located on the coast of Sakhalin Island, necessary for the construction and operation of new infrastructure facilities. An order regarding this has been signed.
On the attached site, the creation of a multifunctional cargo area, coal, oil, and bunker terminals, as well as a gas condensate transshipment terminal, underwater structures, and other port infrastructure facilities are planned.
The decision will contribute to the development of the Korsakov seaport, which is one of the key transport hubs in the Far Eastern basin. The port is connected by regular routes to the Kuril Islands and ports of East Asia. It services cargo and passenger vessels as well as floating drilling rigs, providing transshipment of various types of cargo and fish products.
Changes are made to the Government order dated April 21, 2010 No. 610-r by the signed document.
