Tehran, June 14 /Xin Hua/ — Iran has not yet made or announced a final decision on the proposed memorandum of understanding with the USA and continues to consider this document. This was reported on Sunday by the Iranian semi-official news agency Fars.
As noted by the information agency citing a source close to a group of Iranian negotiators, the political, legal, and technical aspects of the proposals are still being carefully examined by experts and leading figures of Iran.
The source emphasized that any decision regarding the possible memorandum of understanding will be made taking into account the protection of national interests, respect for Iran’s red lines, and obtaining irreplaceable guarantees.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the news agency also reported that a delegation from Qatar headed to Tehran to hold consultations with Iranian officials and discuss recent changes related to the diplomatic process.
