Tehran, June 12 /Xin Hua/ — The Iranian news agency Mehr published on Friday a draft memorandum of understanding between Iran and the USA.
According to the document, the USA commits to lifting sanctions on Iran, withdrawing troops from the borders with the Islamic Republic’s regions, lifting the maritime blockade, opening the passage through the Strait of Hormuz, and unfreezing Iranian assets.
As reported by Messr, the draft memorandum still needs to be approved and refined by the relevant authorities.
