Bangkok, June 12 /Xinhua/ — A delegation headed by the deputy chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Xiang Huai visited Thailand from May 10 to 12.
During the visit, Xiang Hui met with Thailand’s Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, and high-ranking deputies of Thailand’s National Assembly.
Xian Huai noted that China is ready to cooperate with Thailand to strengthen mutual trust and collaboration, to activate humanitarian and cultural exchanges, and to facilitate the creation of a community with a shared future, adding that NPCSC is ready to contribute its share to achieving this goal.
Highly appreciating the significant achievements of China in the field of economic and social development, the Thai side confirmed its commitment to the one-China policy and expressed its readiness to cooperate with it in order to deepen and expand interaction in various areas for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
