Beijing, June 11 /Xinhua/ — An official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC announced on Thursday the imposition of sanctions against Philippine Defense Minister Gilberto Teodoro and his relatives.
According to the official representative, G. Teodoro has repeatedly made irresponsible statements addressed to China, harming the legal interests of the SAR and undermining Sino-Philippine relations.
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC reported that in order to protect China’s sovereignty, security, and developmental interests, the Chinese side has decided to prohibit G. Teodoro, his spouse, and child from entering the internal districts of the PRC, Xianggang (Hong Kong) and Aomen (Macau). Moreover, organizations and individuals in China are forbidden from conducting any transactions with him, his spouse, and child, or engaging in cooperation and any other activities with them. –0–
