Taiyuan, June 10 /Xinhua/ — An investigation is being conducted on Zhang Heping, Deputy Head of the Department for Emergency Management of Shanxi Province (Northern China), on suspicion of serious violations of discipline and law in connection with a gas explosion at a coal mine that caused human casualties. This was reported on Wednesday by the disciplinary supervision authorities of Shanxi Province.
The gas explosion that occurred on May 22 at the Lvxian coal mine in Qinhuang district of Changzhi urban area resulted in numerous casualties. –0–
