Guests of the events dedicated to Russia Day will be able to see a performance by a combined orchestra of hundreds of young musicians and take a virtual journey through different regions of our country. The celebrations will take place on June 12 at the project venue.“Summer in Moscow”, at the Victory Museum, Zaryadye Park, and at VDNH. Participation is free, but prior registration is required for certain events.
Travel across the country
On June 12, patriotic events will be held for residents and guests of the city. A new educational program “Code of Russia” in the park will help to learn about the nature, folklore, and scientific achievements of the country.“Zaryadye”. On the media screen of the “Moscow Matryoshkas,” a plot consisting of 30 scenes will be shown, telling about various aspects of life in the country, the culture of its peoples, bright scientific discoveries, and landmarks. The program can be seen from Tuesday to Sunday at 19:00, 20:00, and 21:00. The broadcasts will continue until July 5 inclusive. On June 12 and on Saturdays, an additional broadcast is scheduled at 22:00.

Volunteers in branded clothing will distribute and share useful information. From 15:00 to 17:00 they will be on duty at Tverskaya Square, Revolution Square, and Novy Arbat Street (property 13). In the northeast of the city, volunteers can be met at the sites at the following addresses: Grekov Street, property 3zh, and Sulonskaya Street, property 7 (square near Olonetsky Proezd).
On the east of the capital, residents will be congratulated at the address: Gorodetskaya Street, property 1. In the southeast, a ribbon can be received at the address: Volgogradsky Avenue, property 119a (Glory Square), as well as in the park at the Nekrasovka metro station. In addition, the ribbon distribution is organized at the addresses: Orel Boulevard, property 24, building 1 and Aviatsionnaya Street, property 24.
Performance of the wind orchestra
The Victory Museum has prepared a large musical program. From 10:00 to 21:00, entry to the main building on Poklonnaya Hill and to the museum “Main Weapon Relics of the Army” (“G.O.R.A.”) will be free (except for the exhibitions “The People’s Feat”, “Battle for Moscow. The First Victory!”, and “The Path to Victory”).
At 12:00 on the main stage of the museum “G.O. R.A.”, creative, dance, and theatrical groups from various parts of the country will perform in front of the audience. At 15:00, in the Hall of Commanders of the Museum on Poklonnaya Hill, a musical lounge “SVOI pesni” will open. Vocal compositions performed by the groups “Wives of Heroes” (Klin), the collective “Nadezhda” (Moscow), and “Voices of the Homeland” (Krasnogorsk) will be played for the guests.
The culmination of the program will be the concert “Fanfares Sound in Glory of Russia!”. It will begin at 16:00 at the colonnade of the Victory Museum. More than 600 young musicians from Moscow, Donetsk, Lugansk People’s Republics, Belgorod, Kursk, Moscow, Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Kaluga regions will perform as part of a combined wind orchestra. Porcelain samovars and painted gingerbreads
The celebration will also take place at the platform of the project promoting local brands “Made in Moscow.” In the art pavilion“Summer market”Master classes for children and adults will be held on Bolotnaya Square. From 11:00 to 13:00, guests will be offered to paint a porcelain figurine in the shape ofsamovar, from 13:00 to 15:00, everyone interested will be shown how to prepare naturalbalm for lips, and from 15:00 to 18:00 participants will be creating small paintings in the techniquediamond mosaic.
At 16:30 on the main stage near the art pavilion, it will beginpatriotic concert. It was prepared by the artists of the “Zvuchi” platform of the All-Russian public-state movement of children and youth “Movement First”. For the listeners, songs “My Russia”, “My Native Land” and other patriotic compositions will be performed. At 19:00 on the same stage, there will be a concert of the singerTosi Chaykinoy.
In addition, on June 12, at the art pavilion “Summer Market” on Bolotnaya Square and “Samovar” at the beginning of Arbat Street, it will be possible to purchase products from capital city producers. Among the goods are painted gingerbread in glaze, music boxes, books on the history of Russian folk clothing, headbands in the form of kokoshniks, children’s encyclopedias with stickers dedicated to different regions of Russia, puzzles in the form of maps with the main attractions of Moscow’s historic center, knitted toys in the colors of the national flag, candles shaped like carved horses, rooster-shaped lollipops, and much more.
