Muscovites are invited to the family sports festival “Ball Contest”. Adults and children over six years old can participate for free. The festival offers a chance to try eight sports involving a ball: table tennis, volleyball, handball, rugby, basketball, football, golf, and floorball.
The festival will take place20 JuneIn the district center “Meeting Place ‘Screen'” at the address: Novocherkassky Boulevard, house 21 (third floor) and27 JuneIn the district center “Meeting Place ‘Orion’”, which is located on Letchika Babushkina Street, in building 26 (third floor).
The competitions will begin at 12:00, and the last sessions will be held at 18:00. You can participate in the competition together with your family or in the individual category.
The festival venues are divided into eight zones — one for each type of ball sport. The main task for participants is to pass a test trial in table tennis, volleyball, handball, rugby, basketball, football, golf, and floorball.
Sessions for different groups will be held every hour. Administrators on site will show the correct way to complete tasks and will count attempts. To receive a prize, participants need to complete all types of tests in any order and score a certain number of points for each trial.
To participate in the festival, it is necessary to register vialink. On the day of the competition, it is required to present an identity document and an OMS/DMS policy.
The festival was organized by the capital cityDepartment of Sports. It corresponds to the goals of the state programs of the Russian Federation “Development of Physical Culture and Sports” and“Sport of Russia”. One of the tasks is to increase the proportion of citizens systematically engaged in physical culture and sports to 70 percent by 2030.
Moscow makes a decisive contribution to solving this task. Special attention is paid to step accessibility of infrastructure, support for families with children, as well as integration into the sports community of participants and veterans of the special military operation and their family members.
