Beijing, June 9 /Xinhua/ — The Ministry of National Defense of the PRC on Tuesday condemned Japan’s actions aimed at escalating regional tensions and misleading public opinion regarding the planned exercises of the Chinese aircraft carrier group “Liaoning” in the western part of the Pacific Ocean.

During the exercise, the Chinese side responded to the multiple tracking and monitoring actions by Japan in accordance with the relevant laws and regulatory legal acts, the representative stressed.
