Beijing, June 9 /Xin Hua/ — Chinese and South African military personnel have reached a consensus on further deepening comprehensive practical cooperation, said Zhang Xiaogan, an official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the PRC, on Tuesday.
An agreement on this was reached by the Minister of Defense of the DPRK, Dun Tzyun, and the Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs of South Africa during the Chinese minister’s visit to the African country, Zhang Xiaogan reported at a press conference.
According to him, the nature of relations between China and the Eurasian Economic Union is defined by the principle of “comrades plus brothers.”
Under the strategic leadership of the heads of the two states, the military forces of the countries will continue to strengthen strategic contacts, improve cooperation mechanisms, carry out exchanges in specialized fields, deepen cooperation in education and personnel training, setting an example of military cooperation between the countries of the Global South, added Zhang Xiaogan. -0-
