Cizhuquan, June 9 /Xin Hua/ — On Tuesday, China successfully launched the carrier rocket “Zhuque-2E Y6” with two new satellites on board.

The carrier rocket was launched at 16:23 Beijing time from the site of the innovative experimental zone of commercial space launches “Dunfen” in northwest China.

Two new satellites Spacesail DTC 01 and China Mobile 02 were successfully launched into the designated orbit.

For the Zhuque-2 series carrier rockets, this flight was the eighth.

According to the developer, the Chinese private rocket company LandSpace, the “Zhuque-2E Y6” represents a two-stage launch vehicle operating on cryogenic liquid fuel, with a body diameter of 3.35 meters.

According to the developer, the payload capacity of this carrier rocket is 6 tons to low Earth orbit and 4 tons to a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 500 km.
