Today, June 9, as part of a working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, a government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev visited PAO “KAMAZ”.
In the delegation, besides Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev, there are Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Alexander Kozlov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Albert Karimov, Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on Agrarian and Food Policy and Nature Management Alexander Dvoiny, Head of Rosprirodnadzor Svetlana Radionova, and other leaders. Also, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin and members of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, overseeing industry, construction, housing and communal services, and ecology, arrived in Naberezhnye Chelny.
During the visit, the government delegation familiarized themselves with the industrial facilities of “KAMAZ.” Accompanied by the company’s general director Sergey Kogogin, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev visited the automobile factory, where he was shown the main assembly conveyor and the conveyor for cabin assembly, as well as the moment of the KAMAZ vehicle leaving the production line. Then the Deputy Prime Minister and the members of the delegation headed to the company’s Scientific and Technical Center: a exhibition of the latest KAMAZ vehicles was organized at the research site.The exhibition showcased the cutting-edge developments of the auto giant, with a special emphasis placed on the utilities sector.
KAMAZ produces a wide range of chassis used in the manufacture of special equipment for many sectors of the economy, including being widely applied for many years in the production of garbage trucks. Special equipment is a key element in the recycling chain with waste; therefore, the production of modern high-performance machines is the guarantee of the successful operation of waste collection and disposal systems. Today, it is especially important to introduce advanced domestic developments into this field. The leader in Russian truck manufacturing is ready to offer highly technological solutions.In particular, guests were presented with a series of modern garbage trucks on the K5 generation chassis, created using advanced technologies and new design solutions: KAMAZ-53253, KAMAZ-53605, KAMAZ-63934, as well as models based on the medium-duty “Kompas 12”. These models combine high efficiency with increased comfort, economy, modern control systems, and safety.
In addition, the delegations showed specialized machines, including KAMAZ-6595 flatbed trucks, as well as promising models of logging equipment: the KAMAZ-1010 harvester, KAMAZ-1011 and KAMAZ-1012 forwarders, and the KAMAZ-1013 forestry tractor. Besides this, there was a test drive of the KAMAZ K5 generation vehicle, during which participants could personally evaluate the high level of comfort in the cabin, the ergonomics of the driver’s workplace, and the smoothness of the truck’s ride. Also, as part of the visit, some delegates inspected the capacities of LLC “CF KAMA” and the cab frame factory.
After the introductory tour, Dmitry Patrushev held a meeting at the Naberezhnye Chelny administration on the topic “Organization of the system for handling solid municipal waste,” in which Sergey Kogogin, General Director of “KAMAZ,” participated.
