Kyiv, June 8 /Xin Hua/ — Ukraine has received another tranche of macro-financial assistance from the European Union in the amount of 2.8 billion euros within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program. This was reported on Monday by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on its official website.

The allocated funds will be directed towards financing priority items of the state budget, in particular social and humanitarian needs.

To receive this tranche, Ukraine fulfilled 11 conditions, which included reforms in the areas of public administration, economic policy, energy, digitalization, and the rule of law.

The Ukraine Facility aid program was approved by the European Parliament in February 2024. It foresees the allocation of about 50 billion euros for 2024-2027. Since the start of the program’s implementation, Ukraine has already received over 29.5 billion euros, of which more than 10.6 billion euros were received in 2025. –0–
