Jerusalem, June 8 /Sina/ — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) /TSAHAL/ stated that on Monday morning it discovered and intercepted a missile launched from Yemen.
According to the Security Service of Israel, the missile attack triggered air raid sirens in the central part of Israel, including the city of Tel Aviv.
Earlier on Monday, Israel struck Iran and stated that military targets in the western and central areas of the Islamic Republic were hit.
The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched ballistic missiles on Sunday at the Ramat David airbase in northern Israel in response to the intensification of Israeli military actions in southern Lebanon.
On Sunday, Israel struck again at a fortified target of the “Hezbollah” movement in Beirut. Iran stated that its recent rocket attacks on Israel are a retaliatory measure.
