The Moscow government has signed agreements on participation in the federal project «Labor productivitywith four leading metropolitan companies operating in the fields of energy, industrial robotics, pharmaceuticals, and clothing manufacturing. At the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, documents were signed on behalf of the cityMaria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Head of the Moscow Department of Economic Policy and Development.
The “Labor Productivity” project remains one of the key measures to support the capital’s business. Lean manufacturing tools are in demand today in almost any industry — from industry and construction to the service sector. They allow for a systematic review of internal processes, elimination of losses, and increased work speed without additional investments. The total economic effect of companies that have completed the project has already amounted to more than 15 billion rubles, and this result is exclusively from operational changes.High business interest in productivity improvement tools indicates a growing demand for system efficiency, and the Moscow Government is creating conditions for companies from any industry to take advantage of project opportunities. The fact that today large companies from completely different industries are joining it testifies to the presence of growth reserves in every business,” noted Maria Bagreeva.
So, among the new participants of the federal project is PJSC “Moscow United Energy Company” (“MOEK”). This is the largest heat energy company, providing heat supply and hot water supply to the city.
“PJSC “MOEK” is one of the key infrastructure organizations of the city. Participation in the project for us is an opportunity to systematically look at our operational processes from the outside, reduce the time, financial, and technical resources spent. The implementation of modern management solutions and IT tools will allow us to improve the quality of the services provided and ensure a stable supply of thermal energy in conditions of growing demand in Moscow,” stressed General Director Denis Bashuk.
Another participant in the project was the company “Industrial Robotics” — the Russian representative of a leading international technology company in the field of robot creation. The enterprise is engaged in the implementation of robotic complexes and advanced solutions for the automation of industrial processes.
As noted by CEO Petr Smolentsev, the company daily helps enterprises throughout Russia to improve efficiency through robotization, however, its own productivity of internal processes is no less important. Lean manufacturing tools allow the organization to finely adjust the international operational model and ensure even higher standards of interaction with Russian customers.
The third new participant of the project is the company LLC “Velfarm”, included in the holding “Velfarm Group”, which is widely represented in the Russian pharmaceutical market and produces more than 300 pharmaceutical drugs. According to Lyudmila Shcherbakova, the president of the holding, participation in the project will help the company increase the efficiency of production processes and strengthen competitive positions in the market through systematic optimization.
In addition, LLC “Children’s Clothing Gallery” joined the project. Its brands are represented throughout Russia. General Director Tamara Pularia said that in conditions of growing competition, high product quality is only one aspect of success. Equally important is how internal processes are organized — from collection development to delivery of the finished product. The successful experience of other enterprises has proven the effectiveness of the project, so the introduction of lean technologies will allow optimizing key business processes and significantly reducing order fulfillment times.
Earlier Sergey Sobyanin announced that the participants of the project have become535 capital enterprises. Applications are accepted on the website of the ANO“Mosstrategiya”.
