In the capital, the winners of the city professional skills competition were determined“Moscow Masters”in the field of tourism in 2026. The prestigious industry award will be received by 11 professionals representing the capital’s hospitality industry.

The sixth competition determined three laureates in the nominations “Tour Guide” and “Hotel Administrator”, as well as for the first time in the industry group “Tourist Police Officer.” In addition, two special awards were presented.

Final competition innominations “Hotel Administrator”Held on May 13 at the Four Seasons hotel. The finalists answered theoretical ticket questions, and then practiced real situations in the conditions of an unfamiliar hotel for checking in and checking out a guest, providing tourist information in Russian and English. In the end, the best hotel administrator was recognized as Anastasia Rogozhnikova, an employee of the Vega tourist hotel complex; in second place was Alexander Ryabov, a representative of the Radisson Blu Leninsky Prospekt hotel; and in third place was Maksim Zhelezny, an employee of the Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow hotel.In addition, the special award “Young Master” was given to Sofya Paklina, a representative of the hotel “Moskomsport”.

For the first time this year, at the “Moscow Masters” competition, they determinedthe best employees of the tourist police, who combine the functions of guides, translators, and law enforcement officers. The final stage for participants of this industry category took place on May 20 at the Center for National Traditions at VDNH. The jury evaluated answers to theoretical questions from the tickets, reactions to a simulated situation, and a dialogue with the host in English. The leaders of the competition turned out to be representatives of the specialized battalion of the First Special Police Regiment of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Moscow: Ekaterina Shasherina (first place), Vladislav Belov (second place), Alexander Ryabov (third place).

Awards have been given in the hospitality industry of the capital since 2014. The best tour guides and hotel administrators entered the main group of the competition for the first time in 2021. Over the entire time, 86 people have become laureates of the “Moscow Masters” in the tourism industry — these are representatives of six professions.

“Moscow Masters” is an annual city competition for those who make the capital better every day. Rescuers, engineers, public transport drivers, medical workers, and representatives of other in-demand professions compete for the title of the best in their field.

The competition is being held for the 29th time within the framework of the social partnership system between the Moscow Government, the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions, and the Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers) with the support of the capitalCommittee of Public Relations and Youth Policy.
