More than 300 thousand times, citizens have turned to the vital situation “Children’s recreation and recovery” during the first six months of the service’s operation. The vital situation allows parents and guardians to find useful information about children’s camps and recreation programs, and in some regions—to submit an online application for receiving state support for organizing children’s recreation and recovery. The implementation and development of vital situations are carried out within the framework of the federal project “Government for the People,” which is overseen by the Deputy Prime Minister – Head of the Government Office Dmitry Grigorenko.
“On the ‘Children’s Day’ on the Gosuslugi portal, a whole set of digital services has been implemented to help families address important issues. Among them is the vital situation ‘Children’s Recreation and Health Improvement.’ It allows parents to choose a camp or sanatorium, receive reliable information about support measures, and in some regions, submit an application for a voucher online. Already more than 300 thousand citizens have used this service, and the database of children’s recreation institutions continues to expand,” said Dmitry Grigorenko.
The service now includes more than 9 thousand camps and sanatoriums. Residents of all regions of the country can use them. The service helps:
• Get information about children’s camps – you can find out their location, accommodation conditions, and contact details;
‧ Find out where to turn for receiving government support – for compensation or a discounted trip for a child;
• Familiarize yourself with the list of references and documents – information about the document for submitting an application for a travel voucher and the procedure for its issuance is provided.
For convenience in selecting a camp, you can use filters, for example: camp by the sea, sports, language, tourist, day camp, with accommodation, with the possibility of applying discounts. You can also search by opening an interactive map with the designation of camps included in the Ministry of Education registry. In addition, the service allows you to take into account the child’s age when searching and set vacation dates.
The life situation “Children’s Recreation and Rehabilitation” is developing and expanding with new services. For example, in 2026, residents of seven regions gained the possibility to submit an online application for obtaining a voucher or compensation for expenses related to children’s recreation and rehabilitation. It is also possible to check the status of the application for providing a place in a camp or sanatorium in the personal account of the “Gosuslugi” portal. The list of regions where these services are available will be expanded.
By the end of 2026, the number of camps and sanatoriums included in the vital situation is planned to be increased to 40 thousand.
Life situations are a new stage in the development of the public services delivery system. One service combines on average about 17 government services related to a single theme, and helps to receive them comprehensively, in a “single window” mode. Such an integration of public services helps to reduce the time a person spends solving a task, as well as eliminates excessive document collection and visits to departments.
