Syan’gan, May 29 /Xin Hua/ — The head of the administration of the special administrative region /SAR/ Syan’gan, Li Qizhao, will lead a business delegation that will visit Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan from May 31 to June 6.
According to the SRS Yang’an administration, the trip is aimed at strengthening cooperation with two Central Asian countries in such areas as finance, trade, infrastructure, innovation, technology, and green development. On the agenda are also the creation of new trade corridors and the opening of opportunities for developing markets.
As Li Ziyaochao indicated, the delegation, which is the largest of its kind in the current term of the SAR government, includes more than 40 businessmen and specialists from Xiangang and about 30 representatives of enterprises from the continental part of the country. They represent sectors such as finance, legal services, construction, engineering, logistics, and advanced manufacturing.
The head of the administration noted that the delegation intends to invite enterprises of Central Asia to use Xiangyang’s advantages as a platform for business expansion.
Li Ziyachao will start his visit from Kazakhstan, after which he will head to Uzbekistan on June 3.
