New York, May 27 /Xin Hua/ — China is ready to cooperate with Thailand in advancing reform and improving the global governance system. This was stated on Tuesday by a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, China’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, during a meeting with Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Don Pramudwinai in the sidelines of a high-level meeting of the UN Security Council, dedicated to the protection of the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and the strengthening of the international system, the core of which is the UN.

She said that Thailand adheres to the One China policy and is ready to cooperate with the PRC to achieve sustainable progress in building the Thailand-China community with a shared future.
S. Psuangkeu expressed gratitude to China for mediating the border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia. According to him, dialogue and contacts with the Cambodian side will continue in order to ensure peace and stability in the border region.
