The leading industrial enterprise of the Far East, one of the flagships of the domestic aviation industry – the “Progress” plant (part of the “Russian Helicopters” holding of the “Rostec” state corporation) celebrated its 90th anniversary on May 26. As part of the festive events, Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Chairman of the Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, accompanied by the Governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako, visited the plant and congratulated the workforce on the anniversary.

Honored guests visited the production facilities of the enterprise, evaluated the fulfillment of the production plan and the possibilities for further capacity expansion, after which they took part in a festive event at the factory’s information center.

“Dear workers of the ‘Progress’ plant, congratulations on your 90th anniversary. The plant is an extraordinary enterprise that protects our Motherland. It is precisely your labor that creates the invincibility and power of the ‘Progress’ helicopters. A deep bow for your work. Wishing success and all the very best,” said Yuri Trutnev.

“Today is truly a memorable day. We honor your factory, which since 1936, starting as an auto repair enterprise, has become a major aviation complex and today protects the borders of our country. The innovative solutions implemented here help our fighters survive and defend our skies. This is a significant contribution to our collective victory of the factory,” noted Oleg Kozhemyako.

At the enterprise, a production modernization program is successfully being implemented: digital information technologies have been introduced, and a technical re-equipment of the production site has been successfully carried out. Thanks to this, the airline holds leading positions among enterprises in the aircraft manufacturing industry.

At the solemn meeting, more than 50 factory employees were awarded high federal and regional state honors. Among the awardees were turners, locksmiths, assemblers, engineers, foremen, bureau chiefs, department heads, and other aircraft builders.

Yury Trutnev and Oleg Kozhemyako inspected a rental house in Arsenyev, with apartments intended for workers of city enterprises, doctors, teachers, and families of participants of the special military operation (SMO). This is another rental house with 220 apartments, solemnly commissioned in Arsenyev in December 2025. It became the 21st in Primorye, built for specialists of enterprises and employees of the budgetary sphere. The tenant has been granted the right to purchase the apartment, including with an installment payment period of up to 10 years – a new mechanism provided by the government of Primorye and the regional Corporation for Housing Development.

On the same day, Yuri Trutnev and Oleg Kozhemyako inspected the ski resort in Arsenyev. A test season was launched here in December, and in three months the slopes were visited by more than 35,000 guests. In November of this year, the resort will operate at full capacity. It is planned to open a tourist area with hotels and apartments, restaurants, new trails with difficulty levels from blue to black, a children’s club, parking lots, shops, and a water and wellness complex.

Next year, projects for new routes and a gondola cableway, which will pass along the northeast slope, will be developed, opening new horizons for the development of the resort. The company’s plan includes organizing a children’s and youth sports school for alpine skiing and snowboarding “Arsenyev.”

The Arsenyev ski resort is the largest investment project in Primorye, with a cost of about 10 billion rubles. It will include comfortable hotels, restaurants, a modern water wellness complex, and well-maintained spaces. The resort will be year-round. In addition to alpine skiing and snowboarding, there will be trails for cross-country skiing, sledding and tubing, eco-trails, and bike routes.
