Tokyo, May 25 /Xin Hua/ — The governor of the Japanese prefecture of Okinawa, Denny Tamaki, received a death threat ahead of a meeting with his supporters on Sunday in the prefecture’s capital. This was reported by local media.
According to the Kyodo news agency, citing informed sources, an email with threats was sent on Friday to the address of the event venue. In the message, the sender threatens that they will come to the meeting to “kill Danny Tamaki.”
