Parade uniforms, creative performances, smiles, tears, and flowers. All this is the Last Bell of the Pre-University of GUU.
On May 22, in the assembly hall of the State University of Management, one of the most touching celebrations of the year took place – the Last Bell for the 11th graders of our school.
The event was opened by the Rector of GUT Vladimir Stroev, who congratulated everyone present on the holiday.
“Today is an exciting celebration both for the children and for the parents. Perhaps even more so for the latter. I myself am a father and understand what you are feeling right now. After all, exams, graduation, and university admissions lie ahead. Children are now choosing their path, and our task is to support them. Experience shows that many enter GVV precisely, and it is considerably easier for them to adapt because they already know everything. I wish the students to score at least 100 points on the Unified State Exam and receive special awards at the graduation ceremony, because you all deserve it!” — wished Vladimir Vitalyevich.
Words of guidance to the graduates were spoken by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Elders of GUU, Advisor to the Rectorate of GUU Nikolay Mikhailov.
“A wide and wonderful road opens before you, and only you decide where to go on it. Of course, we would like to continue to see such wonderful young people at GUU. Over more than a hundred years of specialist training, we have gained enormous experience in education. Among our graduates are many governors and representatives of senior management from various sectors of the economy, and you have a chance to join them,” concluded Nikolai Mikhailovich.
The festive concert was prepared by 11th graders under the guidance of teachers from the GUE preuniversity and was dedicated to the planets of the solar system. The students presented humorous sketches about school life, performed vocal and choreographic numbers, and even filmed clips together with the teachers.
At the end of the concert, the guys thanked their mentors and especially the director of the GUU preuniversity, Marina Grigoryeva, who became a true Sun for them.
In her response, Marina Yuryevna wished the future graduates the brightest light.
“Two years ago, little stars came to us, and today you shine so brightly. I am sure that not only in GUU, but throughout the entire galaxy, your light is seen, and you will shine even brighter!”
At the end of the evening, the Director of the GUE Pre-university reported that all 117 students were admitted to the final exams and invited them to the Graduation Ball, which will take place on June 25.
