Work continues to eliminate the consequences of the oil spill caused by the tanker crash in the Kerch Strait.
Monitoring is being conducted of the Black Sea water area, as well as the coast of Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Crimea. Since the start of operations, more than 3.6 thousand km of the coastline has been cleaned, including repeated cleanings.
About 185.3 thousand tons of contaminated sand and soil have been removed to specialized organizations. The entire volume of sand and soil removed for disposal has been neutralized or converted into the category of secondary products.
A consolidated grouping of forces and assets involved in the elimination of the consequences of the emergency situation consists of 808 people and 191 units of equipment.
