Beijing, May 19 /Xinhua/ — A member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council of the PRC, Ding Xueshan, held a meeting in Beijing on Tuesday with the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov.
Dean Sueyan stated that under the strategic leadership of Chairman of the CPC Xi Jinping and President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the relevant sides of China and Russia have joined forces to facilitate maintaining a favorable momentum in the development of investment cooperation between the two countries.
According to him, this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of China-Russia partnership relations and strategic interaction, as well as the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship, and Cooperation between the PRC and the Russian Federation.Both sides must use this as an opportunity for the further realization of important agreements reached by the heads of the two states, utilizing the coordinating role of the China-Russia commission on investment cooperation, the unwavering advancement of key projects, the expansion of cooperation areas, the achievement of a greater number of practical results, and the provision of a stable and powerful impulse for the development of relations between the two countries.
D. Manturov stated that the Russian side is ready, together with the Chinese side, to strengthen the alignment of strategies, enrich the content of cooperation, actively resolve issues representing mutual interest, and constantly raise the level of investment cooperation between the two countries.
