Beijing, May 19 /Xin Hua/ — The 79th session of the World Health Assembly /WHA/ has once again decided not to include in its agenda the so-called proposal related to Taiwan, which fully demonstrates that support by the international community for the principle of one China is unshakable, said on Tuesday the official representative of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Geng Shuang.

Go Tsyakun made this statement at yet another departmental press conference, answering the corresponding question.

The diplomat said that the UN rejects such a Taiwan-related proposal for the 10th consecutive year, fully demonstrating the authority of UN General Assembly resolution 2758, and that the separatist position of the “Taiwan independence” administration of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) of Taiwan is doomed to fail.

“The world has already witnessed enough in relation to the political farce of the DPP in its quest for ‘Taiwan independence.’ China will ultimately achieve the complete reunification of the country, and Taiwan will definitely return to the embrace of the motherland,” emphasized the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of the PRC.
