On the initiative of the permanent mission of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN, a photo exhibition “Central Asia: peaceful borders, common future” opened on Tuesday at the Organization’s headquarters in New York.
Representatives of many countries, UN systems, and partner organizations participated in the event.
The exhibition is dedicated to the peaceful resolution of border issues between Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, including the resolution on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border in November 2022, the Kyrgyz-Tajik agreement concluded in March 2025, the tripartite agreement on the point of junction of the borders of the three states, and the accompanying Khujand declaration on eternal friendship.
At the exhibition, you can see photographs, maps, and documentary materials that represent Central Asia’s experience as a modern model of dialogue, practical compromise, and good-neighborly relations.
As part of the exhibition, you can also learn about innovative solutions in such areas as transport communication, shared use of space, and water resource management.
