“Samaraneftegaz” (part of the oil production complex of NK “Rosneft”) has implemented a Unified Transport Management Center using digital technologies. The innovative system, developed within the Company, coordinates in real time the work of more than 1000 units of equipment, optimizing logistics, increasing safety in transport, and reducing production costs.
The transport unit of “Samaraneftegas” is a branched technological mechanism covering extensive distances in two regions of the Volga area and solving a wide range of tasks. A specialized vehicle fleet operates daily on the routes – from passenger buses to heavy bulldozers and swamp buggies, necessary for the preparation of fields and working off-road. The efficiency of this unit’s work directly affects the cost of hydrocarbon extraction.
The implementation of the Center has made it possible to carry out high-quality transportation from planning to dynamic resource management. The Center accumulates information about the transport flow and tasks, promptly distributing the equipment between the subdivisions and subsidiaries of Rosneft in the region. Digital management minimizes downtime and empty mileage, increasing the efficiency coefficient of vehicle use.
During the implementation of the pilot project, the Company has for the first time created a unified end-to-end digital transport support process without paper documentation. Electronically, the formation of customer applications, automatic grouping into optimal routes, drivers undergoing remote pre-trip and post-trip medical examinations, receive tasks and QR codes for electronic waybills in a mobile application.After the flights, the final acceptance of verified volumes of transport services is conducted based on telematics data with subsequent formation of billing documentation and management reports in an automatic format.
In addition to automation, the company’s priority remains the renewal of the vehicle fleet and adherence to strict safety standards. The successful experience of “Samaraneftegaz” in implementing the pilot digital projects of “Rosneft” for transport distribution, electronic waybill registration, remote medical examination, and navigation tools is actively being replicated by the Company’s subsidiaries in other regions.
