Beijing, May 15 /Xinhua/ — The Chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping will make a state visit to the United States this fall at the invitation of the President of the United States, Donald Trump. This was reported on Friday in Beijing by the head of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wang Yi.
The diplomat made this statement during a press briefing dedicated to the recently concluded meeting of the leaders of the two states in the Chinese capital.
Van I called on both sides to jointly make thorough preparations for contacts and communication between the heads of the two states, to create a favorable atmosphere and to multiply the achieved results.
