In Russia, the sixth nationwide online voting for improvement projects continues. As of today, more than 9.5 million votes have been recorded, which is over 58% of last year’s total. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

The “My City” initiative, launched in 2021, has established itself as an effective tool for the direct participation of citizens in the process of forming the urban environment. It is precisely the residents who decide which priority projects — parks, squares, embankments, or courtyards — will be implemented first within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life.” Statistics confirm steady growth in interest in voting: if 9.7 million votes were collected in the debut year, then by the results of 2025 there will be 16.6 million. This year alone, more than 9.5 million people have participated in the voting — more than half of the expected total by 2025.At the moment, the maximum number of votes recorded in Saint Petersburg is almost 531 thousand, in the Republic of Bashkortostan more than 506 thousand, and in the Krasnodar Territory 499 thousand. Voting will continue until June 12,” said Marat Khusnullin.

Citizens of Russia aged 14 and older with a confirmed account on the public services portal can participate in the voting. You can make your choice on the unified digital platform zagorodsreda.gosuslugi.ru, in the mobile app “Gosuslugi. Solving Together,” through a homonymous chatbot in the Max messenger, as well as with the support of volunteers based on the “Dobro.RF” ecosystem.

“A key priority in our work remains improving the quality of life of people throughout all regions of Russia. Today, public spaces, parks, squares, embankments, streets, and central squares are being beautified across the country. This work is carried out within the framework of the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment,” which, starting from 2025, by decision of the President of the country, became part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life.” Since 2019, 80.6 thousand territories have already been improved across the country, and 1159 projects have been implemented – winners of the All-Russian competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment.”And one of the main achievements of the federal project is the large-scale and constantly growing involvement of residents in the processes of transforming their cities. People systematically and consciously vote for positive changes. In addition, an effective feedback system has emerged between government authorities and citizens, which allows taking into account the current needs and requests of residents in the improvement programs,” noted Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin.

The All-Russian vote is conducted within the framework of the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment,” which from 2025, by decision of the President of the country, will be included as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life.” Since the launch of the voting, about 8.5 thousand territories have been landscaped.
