President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has arrived in Beijing. The official visit takes place at the invitation of the Chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping from May 11 to 14. As part of the visit, a high-level meeting will be held, during which the heads of the two states will discuss a wide range of issues related to cooperation in the political, trade-economic, industrial, and investment spheres. From January to October 2025, the volume of bilateral trade exceeded 3.5 billion dollars, having increased by almost 8% year-on-year. The two countries also support close cooperation in the fields of education and culture. This is Emomali Rahmon’s 23rd visit to China.He last came at the end of August – the beginning of September 2025 to participate in the SCO summit and the celebrations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the War of Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
