Almaty, May 12 /Xin Hua/ — The Almaty Choreographic School named after Alexander Seleznev has signed a cooperation agreement with the Chinese company Chengdu Grishko Education Management Co., Ltd., expanding international interaction in the fields of art and education. This was reported by the information-analytical portal DKNews.kz.

The signing of the agreement became part of the deepening cultural and educational dialogue between Kazakhstan and China and took place within the framework of the Year of Cultural Exchanges between the two countries. The document laid the foundation for further pedagogical exchanges, internships, joint theatrical and educational projects, as well as for strengthening professional ties between young artists of the two countries.

The founder of the Chinese company Men Qi stated that the parties intend to develop projects aimed at the interaction of Kazakhstani dance culture and modern ballet, to participate in international festivals, professional competitions, and conferences. According to her, cooperation will not only allow the Chinese audience to familiarize themselves with the best Kazakhstani productions, but also to present original Chinese ballet projects on the international stage.

As noted by the director of the Almaty school, honored figure of Kazakhstan Aya Kalieva, the signing of the agreement expanded the professional space of the educational institution and created conditions for the training of artists in an international context, where school, stage, and intercultural interaction converge.
