A new textbook on construction technology has been published

The Department of Construction Technology (TSP) of SPbGASU has prepared a new textbook “Technologies of Construction Production in Urban Conditions.” Its authors are the lecturers of the TSP department: professor, doctor of technical sciencesYuriy Kazakov,Associate professor, candidate of technical sciencesYuriy Tilinin,and also a professor at the Military University (Engineering and Technical) “VITU”, doctor of technical sciencesAlexander Biryukovand a representative of the professional community, a graduate of the TSP department, a candidate of technical sciencesOleg Timoshchuk(Chairman of the state examination commission for the training direction 08.04.01 Construction).

The textbook covers technologies for erecting buildings and structures from monolithic and precast reinforced concrete, as well as industrial buildings with steel frameworks and residential buildings with brick walls. In addition to new building construction technologies, it presents methods for reconstruction, repair, and strengthening of elements of existing buildings. It provides the main technologies for disassembly, dismantling, and demolition of building structures performed during building reconstruction.

Overall, the textbook is dedicated to the creation of durable, safe, and high-quality construction products through the erection and reconstruction of buildings and structures with high consumer properties.

The textbook is recommended for undergraduate and master’s students for studying the disciplines “Technology of Building Construction and Structures” and “Construction Production Technologies”.
