Beijing, May 11 /Xinhua/ — The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC Standing Committee) and the State Council of the PRC on Monday announced legislative work plans for 2026.
According to the plan of the PC VSNP, deputies intend to introduce amendments to the Road Traffic Safety Law and the Teacher Labour Law, as well as develop laws on social assistance, medical provision, and services for children, paying special attention to strengthening the legal framework related to public welfare.
In addition, the plan provides for the development of laws on state property, finance, prosecutorial claims to protect public interests, and countering transnational corruption.
In accordance with the legislative work plan of the State Council, the State Council will develop provisions on the creation of a unified national market, on a legal bureau, on the identification and elimination of hidden hazards leading to accidents in production. –0–
