Doha, May 10 /Sinyua/ — A commercial cargo ship sailing in the territorial waters of Qatar to the northeast from the port of Mesaieed was attacked by a drone. The country’s Ministry of Defense announced this on Sunday.
As noted, the vessel, which followed from Abu Dhabi, caught fire after an impact on Sunday morning. As a result of the small fire on board, no one was injured, the Ministry of Defense reports. The fire was brought under control, and the vessel headed to the port of Mesaieed after agreeing on the necessary measures with the authorities.
