On May 8, the water supply to the “Qinnyan” node of the Pinlu canal was completed, after which a check of the gate’s tightness began. Hydraulic tests of the node entered a critical stage before the start of navigation. It is expected that the tightness check will be completed in early June.
The Pinlu Channel is a key project of the new Su satellite-marine corridor of the western regions. Navigation along the entire channel will open in September of this year.
