Decisions made at the Government meeting on May 6, 2026:
1. On the allocation of budget appropriations in 2026 from the Reserve Fund of the Government of the Russian Federation for the purpose of providing subsidies from the federal budget to Russian airports for partial compensation of costs for regular types of activities and interest on loan agreements or loan agreements during the period of the temporary flight restriction regime in the airports of the south and central part of Russia from July to December 2025
Government Decision:
Adopt the draft order of the Government of the Russian Federation on this issue.
2. On the provision in 2026 of a subsidy from the federal budget to the budget of the Kaliningrad region for the development and restoration to regulatory condition of regional or inter-municipal, locally significant roads, including artificial road structures
Funds are intended for the implementation of the project to reconstruct the drawbridge over the Pregolya River on the Kaliningrad – Sovetsk section of the Kaliningrad railway.
Government Decision:
Adopt the draft order of the Government of the Russian Federation on this issue.
3. On the allocation by the Ministry of Russia in 2026 from the reserve fund of the Government of the Russian Federation of budgetary appropriations for the purpose of providing another interbudgetary transfer from the federal budget to the budget of the Orenburg region to compensate for the expenses incurred by the budget of the Orenburg region for the financial support of measures of social support for citizens, residential premises that were lost and/or damaged as a result of the emergency caused by the spring floods of 2024
Government decision:
Adopt the draft order of the Government of the Russian Federation on this issue.
4. On the draft federal law “On Amendments to the Federal Law ‘On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation'” and Article 25^6 of the Federal Law “On the Procedure for Exit from the Russian Federation and Entry into the Russian Federation”
The bill is aimed at improving state migration policy by transferring certain powers in the field of external labor migration, currently exercised by the Ministry of Labor of Russia, to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
Government Decision:
Approve the draft federal law “On Amendments to the Federal Law ‘On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation'” and Article 25⁶ of the Federal Law “On the Procedure for Exit from the Russian Federation and Entry into the Russian Federation” and submit it to the State Duma in the prescribed manner.
