Kyiv, May 5 /SYNCHRO/ — On the night of Tuesday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck Russia with F-5 Flamingo cruise missiles, which covered a distance of more than 1500 km. This was reported in a “Telegram” post by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, one of the goals of the attack was the target of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of the Russian Federation in Cheboksary (Chuvash Republic).

At this enterprise, relay protection systems, automation, and low-voltage equipment are produced. According to V. Zelensky, it supplied navigation components for the Russian Navy, the missile industry, aviation, and armored vehicles.
