In the “Growth Point” space of the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, a pre-defense of student startups took place. Projects were developed within the framework of the program“Startup as a diploma”.

Pre-defense took place over two days – April 29 and 30. 12 teams of students from the automobile-road, construction faculties, and the faculty of engineering ecology and urban economy presented projects in the field of construction technologies, digital solutions, and engineering services to the expert commission.

The expert commission was headed by the vice-rector for youth policy of SPbGASUMarina Malyutina.

The commission included the participation of:

On the first day, the following projects were presented:

  • “Code.ak” – a platform for student IT solutions (authors: Andrey Kornyushin and Kirill Fershtadt);

  • “maps4people” – a cross-platform mobile application for intelligent indoor navigation in buildings and complexes (authors: Kirill Tishunin and Danila Lutsev);

  • Platform for access to digital twins of real estate objects (author: Yana Pervushina);

  • Intellectual system for automated drawing and verification of land plots during the execution of complex cadastral works (authors: Mariya Emelyanova and Vyacheslav Varlamov);

  • Market express valuation platform for commercial real estate (author: Anastasia Voronova);

  • Al-agent, assistant engineer for water supply and sewerage (authors: Evgeny Suvorov and Zagar Utkov);

  • Digital platform for organizing the redistribution of leftover building materials (authors: Alexander Razinkov, Alexey Titavnin and Bogdan Yakovenko);

  • Automation system for accounting and resource management in construction with the application of information modeling technologies (authors: Aksham Kolzhenbayev, Ksenia Vitsina, Anna Pinzasovich, and Maria Egorova);

  • System for automated assessment of the technical condition of cultural heritage objects (author: Igor Muzyka);

  • Algorithm for analyzing the quality of public transport services with consideration of the priority of urban ground electric transport (author: Ivan Beshentsev);

  • Thematic system for monitoring the technical condition of a motor vehicle (authors: Anton Veselov, Dmitry Ein, and Artem Timofeev);

  • Steering rack diagnosis stand with power steering (authors: Denis Trubin and Semyon Sharovarov).

Experts noted a significant improvement in the quality and development of projects compared to previous stages.

As a result of the presentations, the participants received detailed recommendations from experts – in particular, on strengthening the business model, clarifying technical and economic indicators, and developing practical implementation scenarios for the projects. These comments will help improve the startups before the final defense.

Summarizing, Marina Malyutina emphasized that the projects presented by the participants have real potential for further development, and many of them have already attracted the attention of industry experts. The vice-rector thanked all project participants, wished them successful defense, and noted that it is precisely the practice-oriented experience that helps grow leaders capable of transforming Russia’s construction sector.
