Washington, May 5 /Xin Hua/ — The US Armed Forces Southern Command stated that its Joint Task Force “South Spear” on Monday carried out a “strike using lethal weapons” on a vessel operated by “terrorist organizations included in the /relevant/ list.”
Intelligence confirmed that the vessel followed a known drug trafficking route in the Caribbean basin and was involved in illegal drug trafficking operations, the command reported on the X social network.
Two men, “drug terrorists,” were killed during this operation.
