KAMAZ presented K5 generation vehicles at the Comtrux Astana 2026 exhibition, which is held from May 5 to 7 in Astana.
The engineers of PJSC “KAMAZ” continue working on the development of the K5 generation vehicle model range. The leading Russian automotive manufacturer is ready to offer Kazakhstani consumers an innovative technology developed using digital technology tools that set new standards for economy, reliability, and comfort. The exhibition at Comtrux Astana 2026 features three tractor trucks from the latest line: KAMAZ-54901, KAMAZ-54902, and KAMAZ-65955.
Semi-trailer truck KAMAZ-54901 (4×2)– the flagship of the new K5 model range. It is designed for intensive use in harsh climatic and road conditions. Thanks to the combination of durability and advanced engineering solutions, the model has become one of the most demanded in the lineup of a high-tech car brand by a Russian automaker and enjoys high demand among transport companies on routes throughout Russia and the CIS countries.
The car is equipped with an inline six-cylinder KAMAZ engine (“Euro-5”) with a displacement of 13 liters, a power of 482 hp, and a torque of 2403 Nm. The use of modern high-tech structural solutions has allowed to increase the service interval up to 120 thousand km, and the engine resource up to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation vehicles. The 12-speed automated transmission with low noise level and high efficiency contributes to fuel economy and reduces the load on the engine.It is also worth noting a modern and spacious cabin with a high roof and flat floor, equipped with two sleeping places, a ventilation system, and seat heating. This makes it a full-fledged “home on the road” for long-haul truck drivers.
KAMAZ-54902 (4×2) semi-trailer truckCreated for the development of the K5 lineup following the KAMAZ-54901 prime mover, taking into account feedback from drivers, logistics companies, and service centers. This model is designed for regional transportation over relatively short distances. The new prime mover enjoys popularity among Russian transport and manufacturing companies.
KAMAZ-54902 is equipped with a modern comfortable cabin 2.3 meters wide with a low roof and one sleeping place. It is fitted with the time-tested KAMAZ-689.510 engine with a volume of 8.9 liters and a power of 390 hp, meeting the Euro-5 environmental standard. In tandem with a 12-speed robotic gearbox, it provides smooth shifting, reduced load on the engine, and economical fuel consumption.
In the range of modern semi-trailer tractorsKAMAZ-65955 (6×6)occupies a special place – it is an ultra-powerful heavy tractor designed for transporting oversized and super-heavy cargo. The full drive and three-axle configuration make it indispensable in off-road conditions, at oil and gas facilities, in the mining industry, and in the construction of large infrastructure projects.
The “heart” of the machine is the new KAMAZ-910.50 engine (“Euro-5”) with a displacement of 12.9 liters and a power of 560 hp. The sixteen-speed mechanical gearbox with low noise level and high efficiency allows reducing fuel consumption. Thanks to the engine power (560 hp) combined with high torque (2600 Nm) and a durable transmission, a unique traction dynamic is achieved. The use of modern high-tech design solutions allowed to increase the service interval to 80 thousand km, and the engine’s lifespan to 1 million km.KAMAZ-65955 is equipped with a low-roofed cabin, inside which there is everything necessary for long trips: a spacious sleeping area, seat heating, an autonomous heater, a refrigerator, a multimedia system with navigation.
