Tehran, May 1 /Xinhua/ — Iran has made a new proposal for negotiations with the United States through Pakistan, acting as an intermediary. This was reported on Friday by the Iranian official news agency IRNA.
As indicated in the message, Iran sent Pakistan the appropriate proposal on Thursday evening as part of efforts to end the conflict involving the United States and Israel.
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Esmail Baqaei, said on Thursday evening in an interview with the state TV channel IRIB that ending the war and establishing a lasting peace are priorities for Tehran in negotiations with the United States.
