A high award was given to Rashid Abdullovich as part of the author team for the following work: the set of books “Geotechnical Engineer’s Handbook: Bases, Foundations and Underground Structures” (under the general editorship of V. A. Ilyichev and R. A. Mangushev). The cycle includes current editions in Russian, as well as a two-volume edition in English – “Geotechnical Engineer’s Handbook: Bases, Foundations and Underground Structures”, published in 2024.
The presented works contain the results of long-term research in the field of soil mechanics and foundation engineering. The manual systematizes methods for the calculation and design of foundations, as well as technologies for developing underground space in complex engineering and geological conditions.
The solemn ceremony of awarding laureates of the contest for the best scientific and creative works in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction sciences for 2025 took place on April 24 in Moscow within the framework of the general meeting of RAASN members. The honorary award was presented to Rashid Abdulovich by the president of RAASN, academician.Dmitry Shvidkovsky.
