The Green Theater of VDNH is opening its summer program for 2026. Visitors will enjoy concerts, theatrical performances, and special projects under the open sky. From the end of May until the beginning of September, more than 80 events will take place here, combining symphonic music, pop, rock, jazz, and stand-up.
In the first days of the event, the audience awaits a rich program. On May 29, participants of the humorous show “Women’s Stand-up” will perform; on May 30, the literary and musical composition “Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Swan Lake” will be performed by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia named after E.F. Svetlanov and People’s Artist of the Russian Federation E.V. Knyazev; and on May 31, there will be a concert at the Sretensky Monastery, dedicated to the feast of the Holy Trinity.
A special place in the poster is occupied by the charity concert Lumisfera “Magic Symphony in the Park and 8000 Candles”, which will take place on June 2 together with the Konstantin Khabensky Foundation. The proceeds from ticket sales will be directed to the treatment of children and adults with brain tumors.
The stage will feature artists already loved by audiences. These include the groups “Melnitsa” and “Chizh & Co”, Vladimir Presnyakov, Khibla Gerzmava, as well as Yuri Kasparyan with the project “Symphonic Cinema”. Additionally, for the first time in the Green Theatre, their compositions will be performed by Elk, Soso Pavliashvili, Sergey Bobunets, Burito, Italian singer Pupo, and the groups “Lyube” and “Komnata Kultury”.
A significant part of the summer program will be a special project — the All-Russian Festival of Soviet Song, which will take place from August 1 to 4. It will be dedicated to the domestic pop scene, military songs, and jazz, and the final concert will unite different musical traditions and generations.
In addition, the program includes Olympic Orchestra symphonic concerts with rock and pop hits, performances by comedians and artists, and a show.
This year, the repertoire of the project “On Stage” will be updated. During the season in the green theatre of VDNH, a program called “Summer Evening by Candlelight: Two Pianos” will be presented. The audience will find themselves right on the stage, and the distance between the musicians and the hall will practically disappear. This will create a sensation of complete immersion, where the works of Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi, Hans Zimmer, and Queen will acquire a special sound.
