Financial News: Inflation Expectations Among the Population Decreased in April.

In April 2026, according to a survey by LLC “INFOM”, the inflation rate expected by citizens in a year was 12.9% after 13.4% in March.

The indicator decreased mainly due to assessments by respondents who have savings. Nevertheless, inflation expectations remain elevated. The consumer sentiment index, which reflects current assessments and expectations of the population regarding personal welfare, economic development, and the situation in the consumer market, has declined. Price expectations of enterprises have practically not changed.
