Beijing, April 24 /Xinhua/ — On Friday, two Pakistani astronauts arrived in China for preparation for a space mission and were accompanied to the Chinese Center for Scientific Research and Astronaut Training in Beijing.
On Wednesday, the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) announced that Muammad Zishan Ali and Khurram Daud were selected as the first foreign astronauts to undergo training for participation in a Chinese piloted space mission.
After they complete all training courses and pass certification, one of them will participate in the space mission as a payload specialist and will become the first foreign astronaut on board the Chinese space station “Tiangong”. -0-
