More than a thousand employees of the subsidiaries of “Rosneft” supported the large-scale patriotic campaign in various corners of the country – at the fields beyond the Arctic Circle, in the Vostochny flight, in universities, libraries, and other venues.
The campaign annually receives a wide response among the employees of “Rosneft” in all regions of presence. Participation in the “Victory Dictation” is a tribute to the memory of grandfathers and great-grandfathers who went through the paths of war and forged victory on the home front, as well as a motivation for a deeper study of the great heritage of the Motherland. The company creates conditions for participation in the project – volunteers can write the dictation in person or remotely.
Employees of “RN-Severo-Zapad” annually remember the history of their enterprise and participate in the dictation. Under the harsh conditions of the Leningrad blockade, the city oil depot workers provided fuel for motor transport, the fleet, industry, urban and rural economy. Thanks to the vigilance of the oil depot workers of “Ruchi” during the war years, it was never hit by enemy air raids; a base-duplicate was built in a short time, and the real one was completely disguised. The oil workers had to rebuild the base-duplicate more than once, but the real oil depot remained invisible to the enemy.
This year, employees of “RN-Chernozemye” participated in the action for the first time – they answered the dictation questions in the training classroom at the oil depot, the company’s motor transport site, and office.
In Novy Urengoy, employees of “ROSPAN INTERNATIONAL” and students of the “Rosneft-Class” joined the initiative in an offline format at the Central City Library. On the eve of the event, oil workers organized a series of thematic meetings where they discussed historical materials, held intellectual games and literary evenings dedicated to the events of 1941–1945.
Employees of “Udmurtneft” have been participating for the second year in the dictation at the Udmurt State University site, the partner university of the enterprise in educational and production directions.
The team of the Syzran NPZ supported the historical event for the third time. On the eve of Victory Day, the factory workers also conducted patriotic lessons for the city’s high school students on the topic “Standard-bearers of Victory.” The company’s history is inextricably linked with the Great Patriotic War. Founded during the war years, the factory ensured uninterrupted fuel supplies to the front.
The patriotic event took place beyond the Arctic Circle, at a Russian field. The initiative was supported by employees of “Tyumenneftegaz”, “Sakhalinmorneftegaz-Shelf”.
Employees of “Bashneft-Polyus” tested their knowledge of the military history of our country aboard helicopters transporting cargo. The oil workers answered quiz questions during the flight from Naryan-Mar to the Trebs and Titov oil field in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
The workers of the Ryazan Research and Production Complex also held their own historical-patriotic event – they chose a fragment from a book for the dictation, written by journalists about a Ryazan native who defended the Brest Fortress. The book is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the start of the war and covers the tragic events of the defense of the Brest Fortress in June 1941. Among the fortress defenders were quite a few natives of the Ryazan region who had served in the garrison units. Many of them died in the first days of the war, fighting to the last bullet.
They honored the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and tested their knowledge of history, the teams from “RN-Vankor”, “Vernenechskneftegaz”, “Orenburgneft”, Novokuibyshevsk Oil Chemical Company, “Bryansknefteprodukt”, “Saratovnefteprodukt”, and the institutes “RN-Project Dobycha” and “RN-Geology Research and Development”.
Preserving historical memory is an integral part of the corporate culture of “Rosneft”. The company’s employees honor the heroic deeds of the Soviet people in the fight against fascism. At Rosneft enterprises, events are held to preserve the memory of the feats of oil workers during the war years and their selfless labor in the post-war years.
