A leading Russian manufacturer of special-purpose vehicles and partner of PJSC “KAMAZ” – the “SPM” plant – has introduced a medium-duty truck of the K5 KAMAZ-53251 generation with a crane-manipulator installation.

Serial production of the new KAMAZ-53251 chassis of the K5 generation with a 4×2 wheel formula started in 2025. This is a two-axle medium-duty truck with a gross weight of 19 tons designed for municipal services and retail services. It is the optimal option for transportation within the city and for short distances where maneuverability and economy are important.

The main advantage of the new product is its well-thought-out ergonomics, spacious interior cabin, reliable units and aggregates, stylish and modern design. The new cabin on a four-point suspension with a low tunnel (170 mm) and a full-fledged sleeping place provides exceptional comfort for the driver’s work. It is also equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, a 10-inch onboard system, and other useful options. The pursuit of economy and safety is also reflected in the applied component base.The KAMAZ-53251 vehicle is equipped with an economical six-cylinder inline KAMAZ engine with a displacement of 6.7 liters and a power of 307 hp, as well as a nine-speed manual gearbox. The chassis load capacity is 12 tons.

Onboard vehicle with a platform measuring 6245×2550×600 mm with aluminum sides and quick-release posts supplemented by an Ikra RS1956 ACE crane-manipulator installation with a lifting moment of 19 tm, a lifting capacity up to 8 tons, and a boom outreach of up to 19 m. The package also includes aluminum side protection and a rear safety bar.
